Herein lies my progress page. This pages purpose is to simply inform you of what my goal is and where I am currently at in achieiving that goal. It will be updated when things change, such as if I complete a “Phase” and move onto a new one, etc.
Phase 1: Immersion and Heisig (3 months | May 1st 2010 – Aug 1st 2010)
Phase 2: 1000 Hours of Listening & 1000 Sentences (3 months | Aug 1st 2010 – Nov 1st 2010)
Phase 3: 2500 Hours of Listening & 2500 Sentences (4 months | Nov 1st 2010 – Apr 1st 2011)
Phase 4: Trip to Japan (1-2 weeks | Apr ?? 2011 – Apr ?? 2011)
Phase 5: 5000 Hours of Listening & 5000 Sentences (9 months | May 1st 2011 – Feb 1st 2012)
Phase 6: Trip to Japan (1-2 weeks | Mar ?? 2012 – Mar ?? 2012)
Phase 7: Complete Immersion
Note: 2500 Sentences(between Nov 1st and Apr 1st) really means 1500 new Sentences + the 1000 Sentences(from Aug 1st – Nov 1st) for a grand total of 2500. Same thing applies to the 5000 Sentences as well as Hours of Listening.
Each Phase has an estimated date, though they may not all be exact. They are merely guidelines to aim for. If things do change and the dates need to as well, they will be updated here as well as mentioned by me elsewhere in other posts or via my twitter account.
