What is Ramen Fanatic?

Ramen Fanatic is both a website and a person(こんにちは、＾＾；). Essentially, the site revolves around my journey to conquer the Japanese language while devouring tons of Japanese ramen along the way!  Though I love so many Japanese things, be it the language, movies, music, etc, one of the things I love the most is ramen. Therefore, I decided to name this whole thing appropriately because you’re probably going to hear a good amount about ramen, as well as see it via pictures from myself and one’s I’ve found on the web, but rest assured there will be much more content that is fun and interesting for you as well!

What is this goal you speak of?

I decided to put up this blog in order to document my path from hardly knowing any Japanese to becoming  “Completely Immersed” over the course of 2 years. You can head on over to the Progress page, or simply view the My Progress category, to see how I’ve been doing. The Progress page will actually go into detail for you about my goals along the way as well as the definition of my long term goal(See: Completely Immersed ).

How can I help out!? O_O

Well, first off, you can join me in my efforts to reach my 2 year goal! If you join me on my bandwagon(yes, my little red bandwagon ), you’ll not only encourage me even more, you’ll set yourself up to accomplish something amazing! Other than that, please help out by commenting, telling people about this website, contacting me, etc. What I need most is motivation!

ほんとですか！？If you have any doubts, wipe them away! Don’t think for a second that I’m anything special(well, maybe I am special.. but it’s definitely not in a good way..). Just take a look at the Progress page, read what goals I am setting for myself, and follow along with this website. I’ll be posting things like what I recently have watched, eaten, read, etc so you’ll have plenty of choices when you think to yourself : “But what can I watch(read, eat, etc).. I don’t know of anything, I’m so new..” Also, always feel free to ask for advise from me or the community! Succeeding is more fun when you’re succeeding with others. 頑張って！^_^

I found something wrong with your Japanese D:<

そうですか！？>_<　Well, that’s bound to happen. Why? Because.. as already stated, I’m starting from a level of knowing hardly any Japanese at all. Therefore, if you find a mistake, please correct me! I’m not just saying that. Even if you feel like you might be mean if you correct me because it’ll “embarrass” me, well then here is me giving you permission to do so! Why? Because, while this blog is great and wonderful(to me at least ), reality is the important thing is my goal of knowing Japanese at a high level one day.
