I’ve been sick lately so I’ve been forced to take taken time to rest so that it doesn’t worsen. The good news? That gave me plenty of reason to scour the internet looking for reviews of movies that I thought would be interesting. Check out what I’ve found!
Be a Man! Samurai School(魁!!男塾) is a movie I found that looked interesting, to say the least. I’m a sucker for anything that looks out of the norm. So I took a chance, watched it, and loved it to death. Now, before some of you that have seen it and hate it go on a rant, let me just say that this movie is definitely not for everyone. However, you’re into quirky, over the top funny, and strange movies then this might just be for you! Be forewarned that even all the serious parts of this movie end up turning into something comedic, so don’t watch it with a straight face for heaven’s sake, live and laugh a little!
Reason to Watch: The sole reason to watch this movie is for the laughs. You’ll quickly learn whether this movie is for you or not by watching the first 20 minutes of the movie. If you don’t enjoy that, you might as well stop watching. However, if you do enjoy it, then you’re in for a treat. This movie seems to fit nicely together with it’s combination of seriousness to funny to sadness and back to funny, throughout the whole movie. Often poorly done movies seem to have gaps where you just wish the movie would hurry up and move forward, but with this movie I found myself enjoying each minute.
